Showerheads & Taps
Water use can be reduced by means of lower-flowrate, higher-pressure (e.g. aerated) showerheads and taps. A wide range of models is available: ask for products which meet our criteria at your preferred hardware store.
What to look for
higher-pressure showerheads with a maximum flowrate of 2.5 US gallons/minute (0.16 litres/second) or less
higher-pressure taps with a flowrate of 1.5 US gallons/minute (0.09 litres/second) or less.
for some applications, you may be interested in controls which automatically turn off taps when not in use.
