What to look for

Production of the cement used in conventional stucco is a major source of carbon dioxide emissions. Alternatives are included here, together with internal wallboard systems which minimise waste through recycling:

  1. clay and mud plaster/render (if formulated to achieve consistent and reliable results)
  2. lime plaster/render and ingredients for lime plaster/render
  3. gypsum wallboard or ceiling tiles with recycled content
