Saskatchewan's Green Directory Helping Saskatchewan choose a better environment

High-efficiency furnaces (oil) criteria

Either

  1. Seasonal Energy Utilisation Efficiency [SEUE] of over 85% (higher than the EnergyStar requirement of 83%, so not all EnergyStar approved furnaces will qualify for the directory)

  2. a variable-speed, electronically commutating d.c. motor for the fan.

or

  1. SEUE of over 90% (again higher than the EnergyStar requirement of 83%)

The SEUE should be tested in accordance with Canadian Standard CAN/CSA-B212-00.

Full current lists of furnaces meeting our criteria are included. (The information was sourced from the EnergyStar Canada website, which for the purposes of this directory is considered an authoritative source of test results.)
